Delete Your HelloDoc Account

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your HelloDoc account directly inside the app or on the web. Sign in, open your profile or privacy settings, choose Delete My Account, and confirm by typing DELETE MY ACCOUNT.

If you cannot access your account, email luke@hellodocja.com from the email address associated with your HelloDoc account and include the subject line “HelloDoc Account Deletion Request”.

What happens next

  1. Your profile is immediately marked for deletion and you are signed out.
  2. Staff can no longer view your account after the deletion request is recorded.
  3. A 30-day grace period begins. During this period, you can email us to reverse the request if it was made in error.
  4. After the grace period, an automated deletion job permanently removes eligible account data.

Data retained by law

Some clinical records may be retained where medical records retention obligations apply. HelloDoc enforces a minimum 10-year retention floor for signed or sent clinical records such as consultation notes, prescriptions, referral letters, and vital documents. These records remain protected by access controls and are not used for advertising or tracking.
